With oil and gas resources increasingly being exploited in areas remote from centres of population and markets, marine structures and transportation are an integral part of the global oil and gas industry.

In the marine renewable sector, unique installation and maintenance challenges are the catalyst for novel vessel developments and adaptations of existing equipment and technologies.

We have experience in both the upstream (e.g. construction and field support vessels) and downstream sectors (e.g. oil and gas tankers) and of all types of ships and floating structures, including FPSOs and the latest generation of large LNG carriers. Our engineers’ experience includes maintenance and repair as well as major new build and conversion projects. Previous experience within client organisations means our engineers are fully conversant with oil companies’ marine requirements.

Services include conceptual studies, specification development, shipyard evaluation and selection, naval architecture, plan review and vessel inspection. Our aim is to maximise the client’s value by developing concepts for safe, reliable and economic marine transportation.
