Contract Completion – Jubilee Project

Energy and Power have completed their Jubilee project contract. The Jubilee project lies off the coast of Ghana and potentially represents one of the largest offshore oil discoveries in recent history. The field is in water depth ranging from 900m to 1700m and has been developed via manifolded subsea wells and FPSO production systems.

Energy and Power was appointed by the Technical Banks group to undertake a review of the project and to provide a Due Diligence function in support of a multi-billion dollar finance package. Our role has included a Technical and Project Management review of the proposals for the deep water oil development. The facilities comprise turret moored FPSO, remote drilling, subsea manifolds, flowlines and risers. We provided an independent assessment of overall facilities cost and implementation schedule, together with regular update reviews of the project and the implementation by the incumbent project team, particularly from a cost and schedule perspective.

Allastair Tweedie, Technical Director Oil & Gas for Lloyds Banking Group  said “I would like to thank all at Energy and Power on behalf of the 3 Technical Banks for their support and guidance over the course of the Jubilee project.  We will of course keep in touch, with a view to using your services in future”.
